LONDON: European stock markets advanced at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's FTSE 100 index of leading shares up 0.98 percent to 5,920.68 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 climbed 0.79 percent to 7,133.34 points and in Paris the CAC 40 also added 0.79 percent to 4,037.14.
The British and German markets had fallen on Monday as political unrest in Egypt weighed on share prices, dealers said. [endtext]
